Shipping Policy
Shipping within Australia
We at Battery E-Business want to make sure we can get our products to you wherever you are located. However due to the nature of batteries some restrictions apply.
Wet batteries (for example your typical car battery) are classified as dangerous goods and cannot be shipped by Post or Courier.
If you are close to Warriewood we can deliver them to you and if you want to arrange your own pick up we will assist you as good as we can.
In case you are further away we often can arrange delivery to you for a minimal fee. However this depends on your location so please contact us before you buy.
Dry batteries (including AGM, GEL and Lithium types) can be shipped by road and air. Shipments up to 25kg will usually be dispatched by Fastway Couriers and will be handled through our online store. Above 25kg requires special arrangement so please contact us.
All other products we sell can be delivered by Fastway Couriers or Australia Post to anywhere in Australia.
International Shipping
Currently our online store can only handle domestic shipping. However we are happy to ship our products worldwide. Please contact us at sales@batterybusiness.com.au for International orders. Keep in mind that wet batteries cannot be shipped internationally at all. We will however ship dry batteries and all our other products.
Shipping/Delivery Time Frame
We usually ship your order within the same day or next day if the order is placed after 2pm. In case an item is not available immediately we will let you know the estimated shipping date by email or phone. If the expeced date is longer than indicated in our online shop you will have the option of cancelling the order for a full refund. Delivery time will be a function of the delivery address and the delivery method that you choose. Express Post in Sydney is likley to arrive next day, whereas Fatway to a remote address in WA might take 7 to 10 working days. In general, allow a day or two if you are around Sydney, and a little longer if your package needs to travel. Australia Post Express satchels arrive very quickly, but not everything can be sent in one so, if in doubt, give us a call on 02 99706996.
Tracking
If you select Fastway as the delivery option we can provide you with the tracking number so you can track the delivery online. Deliveries with Australia Post are usually not trackable.
Special Delivery Requests
